Bush Turkeys are found the entire length of Queensland. The males build a nest by draging all the tree litter together into a large mound where the rotting matter inside produces heatfor the eggs. The female lays her eggs in the mound then leaves it up to the male to keep the nest at the right temperature by removing or replacing matter over the eggs.
