My name is Dave Osborne and I am an Information and Communication Technology student at Queensland's Cooloola Sunshine Institute of TAFE in Australia. I started this site to show some of the work I have done on a voluntary and/or donations basis, to give my friends and family another avenue to see what I am up to and to showcase some of the wildlife and sights of the Palmwoods Hinterland and the Sunshine Coast. I became a computer nerd in August 2002, when I bought my first computer. I immediately started pulling it apart and learning all I could. In April 2004, I was asked by my sister Caz if I could have a look at revamping the website for Commonwealth Carer Respite Centres on a volunteer basis. I had not done website designing at all, but gave it a go. Since then I have finished Davids-Webs.com and PalmwoodsRealEstate.com.au, started sites for a new Aircraft Cargo company, for Caloundra Community Centre as a volunteer, shopping carts for Carols Dreads and SAFETEC Mining Safety Equipment and have plans for a live webcam of the Palmwoods Hinterland. I have not looked back! That brings me to this point in time. I have finished Certificates 1, 2 and 3 in Information and Communication Technology and Certificate 4 in Website Administration. and am having a break to catch up with website and house work before going back to school to do a Diploma in Multimedia. I have a new project starting soon that should be interesting and also usefull for locals in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland - WATCH THIS SPACE FOR DETAILS AS SOON AS THE PROJECT "GOES TO AIR" I will be adding to Davids-Webs.com on a regular basis with a growing collection of my favourite photographs, updates of sites I have published on the web and banners of new sites as I start them.
