Palmwoods Floods Images and Video 11/1/2011
The Sunshine Coast has localised flooding several times a year but nothing like what we have seen in late December 2010 and January 2011 across much of Queensland, NSW and Victoria. Here are some images and video from the Palmwoods and Woombye area on the 10th and 11th of January 2011.

The Woombye Palmwoods Road Chevallum Road intersection is stressed at times like these as it is the last way in to Palmwoods and CBD. The biggest problem for the workers was all the gawkers and 4 wheel drives (weekend warriors) congesting the intersection.
